Commissioning Plan: Develop, implement, and own the project’s overall Commissioning and Startup Strategy, procedures, and schedule.
Team Leadership: Lead, organize, and manage the multi-disciplinary Commissioning team (Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation) for efficiency and safety.
Readiness: Define and manage the Mechanical Completion (MC) and Ready For Commissioning (RFC) criteria and formal handover process from the Construction Manager.
Execution & Testing
Integrated Testing: Oversee and manage all pre-commissioning, commissioning, and dynamic functional testing of integrated systems (e.g., utilities, power generation, process modules) on the FSO.
HSE During Testing: Ensure all testing involving energized or live systems is executed under strict HSE protocols and the Permit-to-Work (PTW) system.
Vendor Interface: Coordinate closely with key equipment vendors and suppliers to facilitate specialized testing and troubleshooting.
Handover & Compliance
Documentation & Punching: Manage the closeout of all commissioning documentation, test reports, and the systematic clearing of punch lists (A, B, and C items) in collaboration with Construction and Operations.
Regulatory Sign-off: Coordinate with regulatory bodies, Class Societies, and Independent Verification Bodies (IVBs) to secure final certification for operation.
Handover to Operations: Manage the final transfer of custody and care (CoC) of the fully commissioned FSO to the Operations team for initial startup and steady-state production.
