Stability Analysis: Lead and approve all intact and damage stability calculations for the vessel in its conversion and final operational modes.
Structural Integrity: Oversee and verify hull structural design modifications, fatigue assessments, and steel renewal specifications (e.g., in way of new modules).
Mooring System: Design, analyze, and specify the permanent mooring system and risers interfaces for the FSO’s designated offshore location.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all naval architecture designs and modifications strictly comply with Class Society Rules (e.g., DNV, ABS) and relevant IMO/Flag State requirements.
Marine Systems: Review and approve technical specifications for ballast, cargo, and marine utility systems as they relate to vessel hull design and operations.
Technical Support: Provide expert technical guidance and solutions to the construction and commissioning teams regarding hydrodynamics, weight control, and marine systems integration.
